Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP) for residential and commercial clients

  • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries and concerns

  • Collaborate with the sales and installation teams to ensure successful project completion

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, innovations, and best practices

  • Attend paid continuing education courses and workshops to enhance your skillset

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in HVAC or related field preferred, but willing to train the right candidate

  • Strong problem-solving, diagnostic, and repair skills

  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

  • Willingness to learn and grow with our company

Electrician

Northeast Solar is looking for an electrician to join our installation team to assist with photovoltaic installation. This position will work under the direction of the installation supervisor and will work installing panels, racking, roof mounts, electrical interconnections, and assisting with design.  The position requires working at heights. The preferred candidate will have good communication skills, be self-motivated, reliable, have a positive attitude, be well-groomed, and have a passion for renewable energy.

$30.00-$45.00 per hour – BOE
$1,500 Signing Bonus

Responsibilities:

  • Work with and train apprentices on solar PV installations, panel attachment, and
    electrical interconnection

  • Ensure all applicable permits are pulled and schedule electrical inspections

  • Ensure all necessary materials and tools arrive at the job site

  • Assists with overall crew & job site safety

  • Assist with general site preparation and clean up

  • Participate in regular safety trainings

  • Assist with completion of installation reports

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current Massachusetts licensed Journeyman Electrician license

  • Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check

  • Capable of lifting 70 pounds unassisted, climbing ladders, working with tools and working
    in crawl spaces

  • OSHA 10-hour course completed

  • Comfortable working on roofs and at heights in varying weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Entry-level NABCEP solar installation certificate or equivalent
  • Construction experience
  • Experience with power tools, hand tools, and safety equipment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Have reliable transportation
